What is Google Analytics?
Google Analytics is a tool that tracks users on your site to see where they go, how they get there and how long they stay. It has a host of pre-created reports to help you analyze dozens of different data points relevant to your site.
How Does it Work?
After you sign up for a Google Analytics account, you tell Analytics your website address . Analytics creates a small piece of custom tracking code that you put on every page in your website. That code, reports back to Google every time a person visits that page and Google stores that information in your Google Analytics reporting database so you can examine the traffic and behavior patterns of people visiting your site.

How do I Setup Google Analytics on my Rand Agent Website?
1)Â Â Â Â Â Create an account at http://www.google.com/analytics/
2)Â Â Â Â Â Provide the requested information including your site address, county, and time zone
3)Â Â Â Â Â Agree to the Terms and Conditions
4)Â Â Â Â Â Copy the Tracking Code provided by Google
5)Â Â Â Â Â Login to RandCenter and go to the Web 2.0 Builder link
6)Â Â Â Â Â Follow the Manage & Edit Agent Website link
7)Â Â Â Â Â Scroll down to Bottom Widget 1
8)Â Â Â Â Â Select Custom Widget
9)Â Â Â Â Â Paste the code copied from the Google Analytics site into the box labeled Bottom Widget 1 HTML
10)  Scroll to the bottom of the page and press the “Submit†button to save your changes
That’s it! Your done! It could take a day or two for Google to start collecting your traffic data, but before long, you’ll be able to login to the Analytics website and view more about your site traffic than you ever thought possible! .
