Using Google Analytics to Track Traffic on Your Rand Realty Agent Web Page

Ever wonder how many people are visiting your agent website, how long they are staying or how they are finding you?  If so, you really need to learn a little more about Google Analytics.

What is Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is a tool that tracks users on your site to see where they go, how they get there and how long they stay.  It has a host of pre-created reports to help you analyze dozens of different data points relevant to your site.

How Does it Work?

After you sign up for a Google Analytics account, you tell Analytics your website address .  Analytics creates a small piece of custom tracking code that you put on every page in your website.  That code, reports back to Google every time a person visits that page and Google stores that information in your Google Analytics reporting database so you can examine the traffic and behavior patterns of people visiting your site.

Where can I get more information about Analytics?
